STOP THE INSANITY!!!!
I really don't have much time. I would like to say that medical school is everything that I thought wasn't going to be.
I thought it was going to be about learning important things to ensure that the patients I will treat will have the best in care, but it really is just a test to see if you can absorb a shit load of information in a extremely short amount of time. Who cares if you learn it, just be able to puke it up on a test and get a good score. I want to know when the patient becomes the center of attention instead of "The Test".
To explain a bit, getting two full chapters in biochemstry in twenty minutes and then tested on everything in those two chapters along with everything else I have been thrusted within the last two and a half weeks (10 chapters) within the next 48 hours is not a test to of understanding, it is a test in stamina--regurgitation at its foremost.
Yes I am disappointed, but then it won't be the last time.
Sometimes medical school sucks!!!!
By the way, I can't remember the last time I heard a medical doctor rip off the allosteric acitvator's of isocitrate dehydrogenase from their tounge and save a friggin' life.
My two cents for the week.
