A close up of the rockets we have built together. The Blue one on the left hits an apogee of about 2000 feet. The problem is that the last launch of our day was this rocket and it went so high we couldn't see it after the parachute deployed. The wind took it somewhere but we don't know where that is. Oh well, at least it wasn't a NASA rocket worth many millions. This one only cost $6. The Snake Rocket on the Right is exaclty 2.5 feet high (30") so that helps give perspective on the height of both Jace and Adam. "Snake", took five days to build including the painting and sanding time. A lot of work but worth it in the end. What a rush to see it soar!
