This is probably my most favorite picture that has ever been taken of my children. Only a professional could capture this moment, and he did. Posted by Hello

We had some professional picutres taken of us on a wonderfully lit evening. Look at how beautifully blue Angies eyes are. Posted by Hello

Our trip to Saba: It is an extinct volcano that rises straight out of the sea. This picture is taken from our front porch and reminds me of Bali. We were so excited to go. We flew over on a 12 seater plane and landed on the world's smallest runway. It rained so much though that the return flight was cancelled and we had to take the boat back. We hope you enjoy our pics. Posted by Hello

The view of our TreeFrog Ecolodge. Posted by Hello

The view from our front porch. Those are Solar heated water bags for hot showers in front of Angie. Posted by Hello

A view of the inside of our comfy hut. Jace and Adam were excited to be able to sleep in the loft. Posted by Hello

One of the many friendly Anoles lizards. We would sit and watch them eat flies right in front of us. Posted by Hello

Friday, the day before the big rains. Posted by Hello

My first night sleeping (not really sleeping) on a too short thin mattress where both my hips kept going to sleep. This is also after the torential rains poured all night long and the tree frogs were louder than the rain. It was the rain vs. the treefrogs vocal competition. The painting on the wall is from the Owner Helene. She painted all the EcoLodge artwork. Check it out on the web at www.Ecolodge-Saba.com. Posted by Hello

Our friends that accompanied us Eric, Anne, and Juliette. Their other daughter you will see in the following pictures with Jace and Adam in the Hot Tub, Isabella. Posted by Hello

A nice picture of us. Posted by Hello

Us and the owner of the EcoLodge, Tom. He is a retired Dutch biological conservationist and this is what he does for fun.  Posted by Hello

Here is the heating of the water tub. Posted by Hello

The only way to beat the perpetual dampness that caused us to become cold was with a trip into the makeshift hottub (A livestock trough) Posted by Hello

The clouds were drifting into our hut all day long, and you can see why. Posted by Hello

Another picture of the Green. Funny thing is, Saba hadn't had any significant rain in six months--we arrive and they have torential rain for two days. The good thing is they don't have running water they only use cistern water and you can bet they were running low. Posted by Hello

Not much can be seen. We are in the clouds. Posted by Hello

A glimpse into one of our mysterious escapades through the rain forest. Posted by Hello

One of the steep roads taking us up Saba. There won't be a road all the way around the extinct volcano until 2010.  Posted by Hello
